Jeff Nyman has been a Business Broker since 1994. Jeff and his wife, Linda co-founded what is now First Choice Business Brokers, a national franchise in 2005. As a licensee since 1972, Jeff is the Corporate Broker of the Las Vegas office and owner of several of the affiliated California First Choice locations. Jeff co-wrote the Nevada State Business Broker Permit test for applicants for a Business Brokers State Permit and is a member of the Nevada Real Estate Commissioner's Advisory Committee as well as the founding President of the Nevada Business Broker Association.
Jeff has been involved in hundreds of closed business transactions and acquisitions. Jeff is an instructor for First Choice National Training (FCU) and has written many articles on the buying and selling of a business. Jeff has been involved in listing and selling CPA practices, dental labs, medical practice groups, manufacturing, large distribution companies and wholesale and retail establishments of every kind. Jeff’s almost 30 years’ knowledge and know-how as an experienced Business Broker dealing with all sizes of transactions large, medium and small is the right person to assist you.
James joined First Choice Business Brokers to help business owners through the process of selling their businesses. With over 25 years of experience in business ownership, consulting, leadership, and sales, he knows how to make a seemingly complex and intimidating process easy for his clients. Regardless of the size of the transaction, his past clients will attest that he is a patient educator and problem solver. His straightforward approach builds trust that results in a higher percentage of successfully closed sales.
In addition to his extensive experience selling businesses and as an entrepreneur, he formerly led multiple IT organizations within a Fortune 50 company. His vast experiences have taught him to apply a very calculated and technological approach to selling businesses. He believes all profitable businesses can sell quickly when priced and marketed properly. Being responsive, educated, patient, and adaptive has resulted in higher sales proceeds and reduced liability for his clients.
As a member of the California Association of Business Brokers and International Business Brokers Association, he stays very active in the Business Broker community and keeps up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Telecommunications Management, and manga cum laude with a Masters in Business Administration. He attended Cal Poly Pomona, DeVry University, and Keller Graduate School of Management. Licensed since 2006 (DRE# 01421813), James has been helping business owners buy and sell businesses for over a decade.
Mike came to this firm in June of 2005. He brought 10 year’s previous experience as a licensed real estate agent, spent in California, primarily as a loan agent. His B.S. degree in Real Estate led to another 10 year’s experience in corporate finance and accounting working as a financial analyst, assistant controller and controller. Born in Kansas and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mike has held positions in several different industries including restaurant, auto repair, manufacturing, beverage bottling & distribution, sales and management. He refers to himself as “…a blue collar business broker, more than willing to do a good day’s work for a good day’s pay.”
